Online Instructions

1. Obtain & Complete an Application (6 Pages)

2. Be sure to complete the Competitive Scholarship Program portion of the application (pages 5 & 6)

3. Complete the Payment Form (Page 2)

  • Credit Card information will be taken by mail, phone, or fax. Checks will be taken by mail and please make payable to SYP-Michigan Technological University.

Or, if you prefer, you may contact us by e-mail and request that these copies be mailed to you. Please provide us with your current home address. Please note: the word "application" or "payment form" is needed in the message area. Applications and payment forms may be copied.

4. Send the completed applications, payment form, and a $125 non-refundable deposit to:

  • Deposit is non-refundable if the applicant is accepted to the program. If student is accepted and decides to cancel the deposit will not be refunded. If not accepted, the entire deposit will be refunded.

Once you apply, and are accepted, our office will process your application and send you a confirmation through email or the postal service. A few weeks later you will receive a personalized Welcome Packet which will have all of the information you need, including directions, a detailed packing list, specifics about your exploration, and more.

July 6 - 12, 2008

For participants currently in grades
